Oak Rosemont is a deep, warm dark oak, and the UV-cured oil finish is what gives it its particular quality. A dark floor under a lacquer film can look glassy; an oiled dark floor looks like the timber itself has been coloured through, because the oil cures within the wood fibres rather than over them.

The result is a surface with almost no reflectance, a soft depth in the colour, and the visual warmth that only an open-grained oiled floor produces.

Rustic grading keeps knots, streaks and cathedral figure in the board, all reading a shade deeper than the field, and medium variation gives the floor tonal movement from board to board. The wire-brushed texture opens the grain for the oil and adds relief underfoot. Boards are 7 1/2″ wide, 74 3/4″ random lengths, 5/8″ engineered, with a 4 mm wear layer.
