Oak Oahu is a light-toned European white oak on a 10″ wide plank. At that width a room needs far fewer boards, joints recede, and the floor begins to read as a continuous timber surface — the quality that makes wide plank the defining format of contemporary luxury interiors.

The grading is Select ABC, a deliberate blend of clean boards and boards carrying real character. On a pale colour this is what supplies depth: knots and figure read as soft shadow rather than contrast, so the floor stays light while still having something to look at.

The construction is engineered — the oak wear surface bonded to a cross-laid core — which is what makes a board this wide dimensionally reliable, and what allows it to be installed over radiant heating and in climates with real seasonal humidity swings.
