Oak Dorsten sits between grey and natural — a softly greyed oak that keeps its warm base, on a generous 10.5″ plank. It is the tone that gives a room a cool, contemporary calm without any of the coldness a flat grey can bring.
The dual-tone thermal treatment is what makes this shade work at scale. The grey reads on the face of the board while the grain beneath carries a warmer, deeper tone, so the floor has two colours working together rather than one applied over the top. Rustic grading gives that grain plenty to work with, and medium variation keeps a large floor moving.
The surface is protected by a high-performance UV-cured finish — hard, matt and consistent — over a 5/8″ engineered core with a 4 mm wear layer.
It works beautifully with concrete, blackened steel and pale plaster warmed by wool, leather and bronze, and in waterfront apartments where the floor echoes the light off the water.
