Oak Monaco is a white-toned European oak on a 9 1/2″ plank — the most precise and formal of the pale wide planks in the collection, and the one most often specified where the architecture is exacting.
A pale wide board asks a great deal of the timber: at this scale, any inconsistency is visible. Here the answer is texture and grain rather than uniformity. Rustic grading keeps knots and figure in the board, the wire-brushed surface gives the white pigment open grain to sit in, and medium variation lets the floor breathe from plank to plank.
The UV-cured oil finish cures into the wood itself, so the surface stays matt and the white reads with depth rather than opacity. Boards run 86.5″ random lengths over a 5/8″ engineered core with a 3 mm wear layer.
