European Oak Flooring Oak Antibes
Oak Antibes is a white-toned European oak wide plank, named for the old fortified town on the Côte d’Azur and carrying the same quality of light — bright, salt-washed, faintly warm.
Because the finish is UV-cured oil, the white sits within the top fibres of the timber rather than on a film above it. That is the difference between a whitened oak floor that reads as wood and one that reads as paint: the grain stays open, the surface stays matt, and the colour keeps its depth.
Rustic grading gives the board knots, mineral streaks and real figure, each taking the white a little differently, and medium variation adds movement between boards. The wire-brushed surface holds the pigment in the open grain. Boards are 9 1/2″ wide in 86.5″ random lengths, 5/8″ engineered, with a 3 mm wear layer.
Specified for waterfront villas, coastal apartments and bright interiors built on limestone, plaster, linen and rattan.
