European Oak Flooring Oak Titanium Buff
Titanium buff is the painter’s name for a warm, chalky off-white — titanium white softened with the faintest touch of ochre. Oak Titanium Buff reproduces it on a 9 1/2″ European white oak board: pale and light-holding, but with enough warmth in the base that it never turns blue or clinical.
The grading is 1Natur, the European natural grade, which keeps the board’s own character — sound knots, natural colour movement, real grain figure. On a pale colour this is what supplies depth; the floor reads as timber that happens to be light rather than as a light surface.
Wire-brushing lifts the grain so the off-white pigment can settle into it, giving the plane texture in raking light, and a silk matte finish keeps the sheen restrained. The board is a full 3/4″ thick with a 3.2 mm wear layer, running in 2–7 foot random lengths.
A wide, warm off-white floor is one of the most versatile grounds in luxury interiors: it flatters white plaster, pale marble and bleached linen, and gives dark joinery, bronze and antique furniture something luminous to sit against.
