Oak Volto – European Oak

French Oak Flooring Oak Volto

Oak Volto is a smoked greige — grey drawn over warm oak, the colour that sits comfortably against both stone and brass. It is the most adaptable dark-neutral in the collection, and at 9 1/2″ (242 mm) it has the width to carry that neutrality across a large room without ever feeling flat.

The sorting is Select Character: cleaner than a rustic floor, with more grain movement and more visible personality than a strict Select. On a greige tone that balance is ideal — enough character to keep the colour alive, enough consistency to keep it calm.

The surface is left smooth, with no brushing, so the eye reads the figure of the oak rather than a texture. Boards run mostly 7′ 8 1/2″ (2350 mm) on a 5/8″ (15 mm) engineered core with a 4.0 mm wear layer, finished in a matte UV lacquer. Made in Italy.

Oak Volto comes into its own in contemporary residences and hospitality interiors where the floor is meant to recede and let the architecture lead.
