Topaze is named for the imperial topaz — the stone that holds gold and pale amber in the same crystal. The floor works the same way: a light-to-mid natural oak with a clear golden core, warm without being orange, and even enough across the room that the eye takes in the whole plane rather than individual boards.

This is a Light Rustic grade board, the middle of the oak range. The mill leaves small sound knots, light mineral flecking and gentle shade movement in the wood, so the floor keeps the evidence of real oak without the strong contrast of a full rustic sort. It is the grade to specify when a room wants warmth and character underfoot but the floor still has to sit quietly under the furniture.

A urethane finish with a matt lacquer effect gives a low-sheen, hard-wearing surface that keeps its evenness under traffic. The board is 7 1/4″ wide in 78″ random lengths over a 9/16″ engineered core, with a 4 mm wear layer for future refinishing.

Oak Topaze suits full-floor installations where continuity matters — open-plan apartments, gallery-like circulation, hotel and residence lobbies — and it flatters both cool contemporary palettes and traditional millwork.
