The contrast is what gives this shade its remarkable depth — a reactive stain reacting with the oak’s tannin, then lifted, leaving the timber’s own structure drawn in dark relief.
Three ranges are available to specify. Range 2 is brushed very lightly, planed and consistent — a contemporary surface that preserves the authenticity of the colour. Range 1 is heavily and authentically wire-brushed, undulated, with deeper marks and rounded edges highlighting the veins of the oak in a curved pattern of the utmost luxury. Range 3 is aged and distressed, its chipped edges, shade differences, colour accents and discoloration around the knots giving every plank a completely unique character.
Available 5″–12″ wide and 6′–10′ long, fixed or random, at 5/8″ or 3/4″ thickness in solid or engineered construction with a 5–8 mm wear layer, as straight plank, chevron, herringbone or Versailles panel.
