French Oak Chevron Flooring Bois Flotte
Driftwood in miniature. Oak Bois Flotte is a silvered grey-brown with the weathered softness of timber left to sun and salt, and at 3 1/2″ it is cut into the narrowest chevron in the collection — a fine, close rhythm of points that reads almost as a textile across a floor.
Narrow chevron is the historic Parisian format, and it rewards a muted colour. Where a strong tone in this proportion can become insistent, a soft driftwood grey lets the eye read the pattern as texture: present everywhere, demanding nothing.
Sorted to Light Rustic, so small knots and fine mineral streaking remain visible without dominating. It is the grade that keeps a grey floor convincingly wooden — the flecks are the proof of the material.
Each point is fixed at 19″ on a 9/16″ engineered core with a 4 mm wear layer, finished in urethane over matt lacquer.
Specified for apartment halls, dressing rooms, boutique interiors and coastal residences, and particularly effective in rooms with strong daylight, where the silver in the tone comes forward.
