Oak Pastel Chevron is cut for true chevron: every block mitred at the end so the boards meet point to point in an unbroken V, forming a continuous arrow that runs the length of the room. It is the most exacting of the classical parquet patterns and the most rewarding, because the pattern itself becomes the architecture of the floor.

The colour is a soft pale oak with a gentle warmth — light enough to keep a chevron from feeling heavy, warm enough to keep it inviting. 1Common grading brings the board’s natural character forward: knots, colour movement and open grain, which give a geometric floor the timber life it needs so the pattern reads as wood rather than as graphics.

Each block is 5″ wide by 19 3/4″ long on a full 3/4″ engineered core with a 3.2 mm wear layer. The surface is wire-brushed and finished silk matte, so raking light travels along the pattern instead of flaring off it.
