Oak Loreo is a natural oak whose interest lies in its texture. The boards are wire-brushed — fine brushes worked along the grain, wearing away the soft early wood and leaving the dense late wood standing proud — so the surface has a fine directional relief that is felt underfoot and described by every low sun through the window.

That texture also earns its keep: a brushed surface disguises the ordinary marks of daily life far better than a smooth one, which is why it has become the standard specification in fine residential flooring.

The timber is Rustic grade, with knots, mineral streaks and full figure, and medium variation gives the natural tone real movement from board to board. A UV-cured finish protects the surface without filling the texture flat. Boards are 8.6″ wide in 75″ random lengths, 5/8″ engineered, with a 4 mm wear layer.
