Oak Capri is a natural European oak with the easy, sun-warmed quality its name suggests — a floor that belongs to rooms that open onto terraces, gardens and water.

The construction is what makes that possible. This is an engineered board: the oak wear surface is bonded to a cross-laid core, so the floor stays dimensionally true through the humidity swings that come with large sliding glazing, coastal air and radiant underfloor heating — conditions in which engineered construction is the correct technical choice.

The timber is Rustic grade, full of knots, streaks and figure, with medium variation giving real tonal movement across the room, and the wire-brushed surface adds texture that shrugs off sand, salt and bare feet. Polyurethane with aluminium oxide gives a matt, hard-wearing surface. Boards are 7 1/2″ wide, 74 3/4″ random lengths, 9/16″ engineered, with a 3 mm wear layer.
