A timeworn brushing does not: it works deeper and less regularly, leaving a softly undulating face, rounded edges and grain opened to varying depths, exactly as generations of use would. Run a hand across it and the board rises and falls; look at it in low sun and the whole floor moves.
The colour beneath is natural oak, warm and unforced, and Rustic grading keeps every knot, streak and burst of figure that supports the aged reading. Medium variation adds tonal movement between boards. The finish is UV-cured oil, cured into the timber rather than forming a film, so the texture stays open and honest. Boards are 7 1/2″ wide in 72″ random lengths, 9/16″ engineered, with a 3 mm wear layer.
