Oak Haenna – European White Oak

European Oak Flooring Oak Haenna

Oak Haenna is a natural-toned European oak whose character is carried by touch. The boards are wire-brushed: fine steel brushes run along the grain, wearing away the soft early-growth wood and leaving the dense late-growth grain standing proud, so the surface acquires a directional relief you register barefoot before you notice it in the light.

That texture is doing more than one job. It gives the floor tactile quality, it lets raking light describe the grain across the whole room, and it quietly disguises the everyday marks that a perfectly smooth floor would show.

The timber beneath is Rustic grade, with knots, mineral streaks and real figure, and medium variation between boards so the natural tone moves gently across the floor. A polyurethane with aluminium oxide finish protects it without filling the texture flat. Boards are 7 1/2″ wide, 74 3/4″ random lengths, 9/16″ engineered, with a 3 mm wear layer.

A floor for houses that are lived in properly — kitchens, family rooms, hallways — and for interiors built on natural materials.
